Bird Sculpture & Dove Images : Pet doves were the models for these dove sculptures. Dove images are a perfect subject for ornament and relief sculpture on buildings as demonstrated by the affinity for architecture of their pigeon cousins. These friezes have been installed over fireplaces, windows and doorways. Commissioned works include a dove frieze on the Aspen Hill Library in Maryland and a townhouse in Philadelphia.
